About the role
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver complex network programs, including WAN and LAN projects, connectivity, migrations, upgrades, and integrations
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, network engineering and architecture, security teams, vendors, and operations to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria and acceptance with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations and budgets; track progress and report status to leadership
- Lead cross-functional technical teams and external vendors through design, build, testing, cutover and hand over
- Organize and facilitate technical design reviews, pre-production testing, pilot deployments and User Acceptance Testing
- Create and own detailed cutover/runbook and rollback plans; coordinate communications and change control processes
- Identify, track and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as required
- Manage Vendor SOWs, facility requirements, performance and escalations; enforce delivery SLAs
- Lead post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned and implement continuous improvement
- Communicate across multiple teams, organizations, and leaders to effectively articulate business goals and objectives
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and corporate policies during project lifecycle
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing large scale network architectures, including complex routing and switching configurations
- 5+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
- 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex network issues (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (preferred)
- Experience maintaining thorough documentation and implementing repeatable processes (preferred)
- Must meet export control compliance: must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
