About the role

  • Support the Chief of Staff (CoS) of the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Chief Information Officer (CIO) organization.
  • Work closely with Directors, Vice Presidents and ID&S Chief of Staff network to build and enhance organizational operational integration with a strategic focus.
  • Build and gain trust across the immediate team and associated stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Directors within BDS CIO to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the goals of IDT&S.
  • Build and maintain operational rhythms, including regular meetings, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure alignment and accountability across teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of key projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the Directors in preparing materials for executive meetings, including presentations, reports, and strategic documents.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the organization, ensuring effective communication and alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Demonstrate versatility and resilience in navigating challenges and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Drive actions to completion related to operations, risk, and portfolio/financial management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in an executive supporting role
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or similar domains
  • Experience driving process improvements across the organization
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating internally across multiple organizations to achieve results (preferred)
  • Experience managing and/or leading a team either formally or informally, with guiding, mentoring, and supporting team members (preferred)
  • Experience in Program Management, IT, risk and compliance, and finance (preferred)
