About the role
- Act as Regional Marketer for assigned portfolio, region, guests, and amenities
- Create and manage portfolio strategic marketing playbook, marketing budget, and associated KPIs
- Manage all marketing request forms and provide timely feedback and assignment updates
- Create open dialogue between operations and marketing to communicate requests and needs
- Strategically advise on marketing channels and recommend spend-per-channel
- Oversee marketing channels (email, digital, social, PR, blog content, photo/video, graphic design) and provide month-over-month analytics and ROI reports
- Create, design, and execute marketing materials and support brand initiatives
- Provide direction, content, and approvals for social media to outsourced partners on a monthly calendar basis
- Create ads or provide instructions to outsourced vendors to rectify monthly social ad spending
- Curate and manage on-property photo/video needs, including shot lists and vendor coordination
- Research geographic and demographic information and plan tactics and media buys
- Visit each assigned property once per year
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics, social media, and Email Marketing
- Strong project management skills; able to work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality results
- Able to work collaboratively with a team and independently without supervision
- Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives and budgeting
- Positive, can-do attitude; flexibility, adaptability, and business acumen
- Basic understanding of graphic design
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge a plus
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Must meet tight deadlines with little supervision and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Arts, Graphics, Communication, or a related field
- Multi-property, multi-store, or regional marketing experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with integrative marketing technologies
