Operations

• Manage a team of System Operational Architects responsible for developing a detailed operational architecture, sequence of operations, trade study generation, Engineering Operations Requirements (EORs), Maintenance Requirements (MRs), Launch Commit Criteria (LCC), and operational improvements to increase the launch cadence of New Glenn.
• Author documents that define the system operational architecture, operations and control rationale, maintenance requirements, and critical cross element performance or interface requirements.
• Serve as primary engineering POC for CONOP development through all phases of operations, acting as cross element interface for design engineering and operations.
• Assess, identify, and lead any fixes to gaps in the concept of vehicle operations and recovery.

Senior Manager – System Operations Architecture

Solutions Engineer

• Supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth’s orbit and beyond.
• Work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems for the New Glenn Program, focusing on system integration.
• Support system engineering practices across disciplines, verifying requirements using tools like DOORS Next Gen and other functional analysis toolsets.
• Carry out systems engineering activities in accordance with system engineering standards and practices, tailoring processes to complete tasks assigned.
• Participate in gated reviews, identify, analyze, and resolve system discrepancies, and provide support for the Element Lead.

Systems Engineering & Integration Engineer II

Systems Engineer

• Serve as the senior technical authority for space system architecture within the Special Programs organization, providing vision and direction for mission-driven system concepts
• Lead end-to-end architecture definition for advanced space-based sensing systems, from mission concept formulation through preliminary design, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and operational requirements
• Drive system-level trade space exploration across competing architectures, evaluating performance, cost, schedule, and risk to inform program decisions at the highest levels

Technical Product Manager

• Develop a multi-year product vision that shapes company objectives, secures executive buy-in, and enables Blue Origin to meet our ambitious goals for production and launch.
• Develop and manage a 12-18-month plan spanning technology areas, aligning resources, milestones, and mitigation paths while resolving cross-business conflicts.
• Drive decisions with leaders of core business functions and top executives at Blue Origin. Align resources across the company to deliver on goals.

Full-stack Engineer

• Lead the technical development and optimization of commercial pLEO constellation architectures, including orbital design, coverage analysis, and constellation-wide performance requirements
• Serve as the primary technical lead for commercial constellation opportunities, representing In-Space Systems' technical capabilities and solutions
• Develop constellation-level requirements and specifications that balance performance, cost, schedule, and manufacturability for high-volume satellite production

Communications

• Define and own end-to-end RF communications architectures for National Security Space programs, including Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C), crosslinks, and mission data links
• Lead architecture trades and system-level analyses to evaluate frequency bands, waveforms, link budgets, modulation schemes, and antenna configurations
• Develop and maintain communications architecture documentation including concept of operations (CONOPS), interface control documents (ICDs), and architecture definition documents (ADDs)
• Collaborate with mission engineering, systems engineering, payload, and ground systems teams to ensure end-to-end communications compatibility and performance

Full-Stack Software Engineer III – Operations Technology

Software Development Engineer III

• Design and develop mechanical hardware components and assemblies for the TeraWave satellite constellation and ground systems
• Perform structural analysis, thermal analysis, and tolerance stack-ups to validate designs meet mission requirements
• Develop and maintain detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in accordance with program standards
• Support hardware integration and test activities, including environmental testing such as vibration, thermal vacuum, and shock
• Collaborate with systems engineers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams to define mechanical requirements and interfaces
• Generate and review engineering documentation including design specifications, analysis reports, and test procedures

Business Operations

• Act as project manager for the full lifecycle of New Glenn and Strategy & Business Operations goals, from annual goal definition through in-year tracking and closeout
• Take ownership of goal development processes and memo development
• Facilitate cross functional alignment on goals and key results, ensuring they are measurable, realistic, and clearly cascaded to relevant teams
• Maintain clear, up to date status for all New Glenn and SBO goals, including risks, mitigations, and dependencies, and provide regular status updates to the leadership team
• Provide guidance and support to goal owners on planning, sequencing, and executing work against goals; help them address blockers and adjust plans as needed
• Manage goal inputs and content for leadership forums
• Own and be accountable for SBO offsite planning and execution
