About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage HW/SW integration, establish project timelines, and plan resource allocation for silicon programs.
- Oversee and lead the initial power-on and initialization of newly manufactured chips in the lab.
- Drive the strategy to integrate hardware and firmware directly on the physical silicon for cohesive system behavior.
- Direct the design and construction of test boards for silicon bring-up and hardware/software integration.
- Partner with architects, hardware designers, and software engineering teams to root-cause complex failures and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in Signal processing, RF design, or system integration
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Programming: Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture, RF Transceiver, and low-level communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, I2C, SPI)
- Hands-on experience using advanced lab equipment including logic analyzers, spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzer, and oscilloscope for troubleshooting hardware.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
