About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create construction documents and other design documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure design alignment with project goals and objectives
- Prepare and review design drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards
- Utilize BIM systems to create detailed 3D models and coordinate multidisciplinary design elements
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers on best practices and design principles
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and advancements to inform design practices and strategies
- Contribute to the development of design standards, templates, and processes to enhance project efficiency and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CAD, Revit, and BIM systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
- Strong understanding of construction document preparation and design documentation standards
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
