About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build data models supporting Lunar program planning, configuration tracking, scheduling, and technical performance
Create dashboards and key metrics for program leadership decision-making and business reviews
Develop automated data pipelines using Python and SQL for engineering, supply chain, configuration management, production, and operations teams
Partner with budget owners and technical teams to identify analytics needs and deliver self-service reporting solutions
Lead technical data modeling for cross-functional analyses spanning multiple Lunar programs
Establish data quality standards and documentation practices that enable team scalability

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of SQL experience
Experience with Python and/or Spark
Demonstrable experience with GenAI tools for generating, reviewing, and deploying code, especially data reporting tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Databricks Apps
Experience with professional visualization tools such as Databricks, Tableau, or Power BI
Experience gathering requirements from customers and presenting data solutions
Preferred: 2+ years building models and reports with Databricks
Preferably Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate certification
Experience with Git and GitLab for code management, including branching, merging, CI/CD, variables, and deployment
Experience building automated data pipelines using Python, DBSQL, and/or Spark
Experience with AWS infrastructure and tools such as ECS, RDS, and Lambda
Experience with hierarchical data structures, especially hardware bills of materials and production plans
Domain knowledge in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and/or aerospace
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted U.S. refugee or asylee
Ability to pass the required background check
