Director of Financial Planning – Analysis

Manager

• Oversee global travel operations for all BLAST events, ensuring efficient, scalable and cost-effective travel solutions.
• Coordinate complex travel logistics for players, staff, officials, and stakeholders across multiple events and locations
• Act as the primary point of contact for flight strategy, routing decisions, re-bookings, cancellations and travel-related escalations.
• Lead the relationship with BLAST's travel management provider(s), driving service improvements, operational performance and system enhancements.
• Manage complex travel logistics across multiple events, countries and time zones while ensuring compliance with internal policies and operational requirements.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve travel processes, policies and workflows to enhance efficiency, traveller experience and cost control.
• Maintain travel reporting, data accuracy and system development, driving automation and process improvements through tools such as Smartsheet and Melon.
• Manage travel budgets across all events, ensuring cost control, accurate forecasting and effective booking strategies while balancing operational needs
• Partner with Finance, Events, Global Mobility and other internal stakeholders to support event planning, visa requirements and travel operations.
• Act as the travel subject matter expert for the business, providing guidance, training and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate travel-related risks, developing contingency plans for complex operational scenarios.
• Attend key events where required, providing on-site travel support and managing high-volume travel changes and rebooking activity.

Travel Manager

Publisher

• Lead JioBLAST’s IP development and publisher relations function, including management of a small team.
• Identify, shape and develop new esports and competitive entertainment IP concepts that are relevant to publishers, players, fans and the Indian gaming market.
• Build and manage strong relationships with game publishers, platforms and gaming ecosystem partners.
• Understand publisher and partner objectives, then translate them into flexible commercial models, partnership structures and IP propositions.
• Create clean, clear and insightful proposal materials, including concept notes, pitch decks, commercial models, partnership structures and internal recommendation documents.
• Build and maintain a disciplined pipeline of IP and publisher opportunities, ensuring clear prioritisation, next steps, follow-ups and internal visibility.
• Work closely with leadership to assess market opportunities, prioritise target publishers / games, and define the commercial and strategic rationale for new IPs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, production, operations, finance and leadership teams to ensure new IPs are commercially viable, operationally deliverable and strategically aligned.
• Manage and guide a small team, ensuring clear priorities, strong follow-through, high-quality output and accountability.
• Maintain strong knowledge of esports, gaming, publisher priorities, player communities, tournament formats, content trends and youth entertainment in India and globally.

Head of IP Development – Publisher Relations

Accounts Payable

• Own and manage the end‑to‑end AP function across a large, high‑volume invoice environment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and control at every stage of the purchase‑to‑pay cycle.
• Oversee the processing of high volumes of invoices across multiple entities and currencies, with a focus on maximising straight‑through processing rates through AI and automation.
• Maintain a clean, well‑reconciled AP ledger at scale, proactively resolving aged items, duplicate payments and supplier disputes before they escalate.
• Manage weekly and monthly multi‑currency payment runs, ensuring appropriate controls, authorisations and audit trails are in place.
• Own the AP inbox and act as the primary escalation point for complex supplier and internal queries, maintaining strong vendor relationships and protecting Blast’s commercial reputation.
• Lead the definition and configuration of the purchase order module within Blast’s new ERP system — including PO workflow design, approval hierarchies, matching rules and supplier portal setup — acting as the AP function’s subject matter expert throughout implementation and go‑live.
• Lead the optimisation of our PO system and supporting AI and automation tools across the AP function, including AI‑powered invoice capture, intelligent OCR, automated three‑way matching and exception‑based workflows.
• Use AI tools to reduce manual invoice touchpoints, drive down processing costs per invoice and significantly increase straight‑through processing.
• Leverage large language models and AI assistants to automate supplier communications, generate process documentation and analyse AP performance data.
• Identify and pilot new AI‑driven AP solutions as the technology evolves, acting as the internal champion for innovation within the AP function.
• Build and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools that provide real‑time visibility into AP performance, liabilities and cash‑flow impact.
• Own the AP month‑end close process at volume and pace, including supplier statement reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Produce accurate AP ageing reports and KPI dashboards covering DPO, invoice cycle times, exception rates and automation penetration.
• Support the Financial Controller with balance sheet reconciliations and audit‑ready workpapers relating to payables.
• Provide regular insight and commentary on AP performance trends, highlighting risks and opportunities to Finance leadership.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with a large, diverse supplier base, ensuring disputes and escalations are resolved professionally and efficiently at scale.
• Work closely with Procurement, Legal and Commercial teams to ensure supplier onboarding, contract payment terms and vendor data are accurately reflected in the AP system.
• Partner with budget holders across the business to drive PO compliance and timely invoice approvals, reducing bottlenecks in the workflow.
• Influence senior stakeholders to adopt AP best practices and support automation initiatives requiring cross‑functional engagement.
• Manage and develop a small AP team, providing day‑to‑day oversight, workload prioritisation and coaching, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and AI‑led ways of working.

Accounts Payable Manager – 6 Month FTC

Events

• Lead operational contact for the event delivery elements of BLAST arena shows, coordinating all of the venue operations with all relevant stakeholders both internally and externally
• Leads on all deadlines & deliverables relating to the venue hire contract or stipulated by the venue team, working very closely with the Production and ticketing lead on all operations
• Has a clear overview of all activities happening across the venue (eg high level overview of load in, media days, ad-hoc tours and events etc.) and a contact list of all key personnel
• Coordinates all site visits and team introductions ensuring the correct departments & venue contacts are represented and connected
• Owns the non-production elements of the floorplan eg back of house and office layouts, dressing rooms, furniture, catering areas as well as ensuring all activity regarding practise rooms at the team hotel is planned with tournament operations
• Leads the on-site comms flow and daily briefs relating to Event Delivery
• Hiring and managing freelance local Event Managers / Coordinators / FOH staff where required, and working with any local production companies in the respective country
• Owns & manages the relevant lines of the budgets relating to event delivery
• Work closely with all BLAST departments including production, ticketing, commercial and broadcast colleagues to collectively finalize floor-plans and seating charts before on-sale announcements
• Working closely with the BLAST commercial team to ensure partner activations are facilitated on site and are approved by the venue
• Responsible (with support from the event coordinator) for researching, booking and managing all Hotels and accommodation operations
• Responsible (with support from the event coordinator and team operations) for the planning and delivery of all on-site catering, accreditation and staff operations on venue
• Plan and budget for the front of house audience elements - VIP operations inc staffing & budget (not inc guestlist), signing sessions, partner activations, concourse floor plans etc
• Work closely with the Ecosystem Directors and Exec Producer on KPI’s and ensuring the Events department is delivering what is needed

Event Manager

Operations

• - Maintain and manage the master project tracker across all live events, ensuring it remains accurate, up to date, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
• - Serve as the primary point of contact between internal functions, including IP Development, Live Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Brand Servicing, ensuring effective coordination and alignment.
• - Monitor task ownership, project timelines, key milestones, and interdependencies across all functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• - Facilitate regular cross-functional status meetings to review progress, identify outstanding actions, and drive decision-making where required.
• - Proactively identify, escalate, and track risks, issues, and potential blockers to ensure timely resolution and minimise impact on project delivery.
• - Ensure all stakeholders are provided with the necessary approvals, briefs, assets, information, and resources to successfully execute their responsibilities.
• - Manage communication with senior leadership by preparing concise, accurate, and actionable project updates that clearly highlight key developments, risks, and decisions required.

Operations & Delivery Manager

• Oversee the recruitment and daily performance of Freelance Player Managers while on-site during events.
• Provide comprehensive on-site coordination for both players and team organizations.
• Logistical planning including the tracking and booking of travel and lodging.
• Supervise and reconcile team-related chargeback expenses and prize money payments.
• Manage and update the participation obligations and requirements for all participating teams.
• Deliver precise and punctual team communications regarding requirements, obligations, logistics and planning.
• Facilitate Discord support for co-streamers and local language communities.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to enhance the overall player journey and product integration.
