• Lead major projects or programs from planning through construction

Senior Project Manager / Technical Advisor

Engineer

• Create relationships with clients in the Atlanta/Gwinnett County area and act as liaison between local design team, client and remote design teams.
• Manage and coordinate automation, instrumentation, control and SCADA projects for water and wastewater utilities.
• Lead execution and take overall responsibility for I&C design projects as well as coordinate I&C engineering efforts for large multi-discipline projects.
• Provide local interface by attending client and contractor meetings, performing field investigations, attending factory acceptance testing and helping to resolve I&C client and construction issues.

• The Grid Project Director will function in a cultural, client, project and commercial leadership capacity
• Responsible for bottom-line results for a focused client portfolio of EPC and services projects primarily encompassing transmission, distribution, and substations in a US region

Project Director - Transmission and Substations

• Managerial responsibility for a team of 8 or more operators
• Responsible for all operational processes, procedures, training, and staff development required to support Remote Operations Center (ROC) operations and functions.
• Coordinates with business leaders, divisional, and corporate support groups to ensure continuous development (resources, infrastructure, facilities) of the ROC in support of strategic business objectives and compliance needs.
• Performs Real-time operations of distributed asset power generation technologies in Remote Operations Center.
• Interfaces with multiple parties for identification, diagnosis and resolution of site operations and maintenance problems, including the site O&M team, site owner, regulatory agencies, and B&V leadership.
• Engages in multiple aspects of ROC responsibilities.
• Follows scheduled energy dispatch instructions.
• Develops processes and procedures for both site-specific projects and the Remote Operations Center.
• Schedules and coordinates operator schedules including holidays, OT, and coverage.

Remote Operations Center Manager

Systems Engineer

• Provide consulting services and guidance on Operational Technologies (OT) transformation around Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), Outage Management System (OMS), and Enterprise OT-IT Integration.\n• To speak to requirements related to Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS), Virtual Power Plant (VPP) or related topics is expected.\n• Support the delivery of Utility Transformational programs and projects in these areas with participation and consultation in technical solution delivery strategy, solutions architecture, business and systems integration.\n• Work closely with the Principal Consultants and Project Directors to manage and deliver on contractual obligations, client satisfaction, pull through business opportunities, and develop trusted, long-term client relationships.\n• The Consultant brings experience delivering transformational-related projects for utilities as a utility employee, working for utility infrastructure or software platform vendor, or in a consulting capacity for utilities.\n• The preferred candidate will be conversant in the business, functional, and technical aspects of electric utilities, including bringing direct experience with utility software systems delivery methodologies, power systems T&D infrastructure, distributed energy resources, and OT/IT systems.\n• As a Consultant, you will manage and/or participate in a team of business and technology consultants in defining strategies and roadmaps, developing solutions and requirements, and supporting clients with their digital transformation needs (technology, business processes, data, and organizational readiness).\n• Much of the client delivery work will be done remotely through online, virtual meetings with Black & Veatch team members and our clients.
