Lead major projects or programs from planning through construction
Present updates to external client stakeholders and support decision-making
Provide oversight of the program schedule and budget using internal processes and manage large inter-discipline teams of internal and subconsultant resources
Lead a Team that provides technical solutions focused on water supply/treatment/distribution, wastewater collection/treatment, biosolids management, recycled water, water quality regulations and utility infrastructure systems
Provide recommendations on client’s processes, organization, and readiness to embark on major programs and alternative project delivery
Support the team’s use of risk-based assessments to develop and prioritize capital improvement programs
Provide project execution, quality control, and technical leadership to support large water and wastewater projects and programs
Lead and provide technical expertise to support marketing and business development
Support pursuit, proposal, and project interview activities
Work closely with Client Directors and the Area Director to develop relationships with clients and decision makers in Texas
Help mentor professionals and grow the Team by identifying high quality candidates and recruits
Requirements
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (preferred)
20+ years of relevant water engineering experience (preferred)
Experience managing large water and wastewater programs and projects
Knowledge of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment regulations
Proficient with technical and thought leadership surrounding water and wastewater infrastructure systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience providing input and oversight of technical tasks and project teams
Proficient with report writing and PowerPoint presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
Willing and able to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search)
