• Functions in an entry level capacity
• Under close supervision, supports engineering teams by performing technical tasks that require basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Utilizes digital tools, design software (CAD, BIM, 3D tools, etc.), and standardized procedures to assist in the creation, modification, and maintenance of technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
• Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and maintaining a working knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and BV policies and procedures
• Ensures that deliverables are accurate and compliant by developing an understanding and complying with the BV Quality Program

Junior Engineering Technician – Piping

Engineer

• Working directly with the project team to generate engineering design documents and deliverables (drawings, points list, configuration files, etc.) for systems and components related to the substation and renewable energy SCADA systems.
• Provide oversight and lead lower-level engineering work or assignments.
• Previous controls system design experience for power projects.
• Ability to teach other engineers the fundamental SCADA concepts.
• Utilize effective verbal communication skills to convey, teach and/or sell ideas.
• Excellent writing skills.

• Experience in reading one-line diagrams, three-line AC schematics, and DC schematics.
• Understanding DNP3 protocol.
• Understand how to configure devices’ ethernet comm settings in IPV4 addressing with end devices, ethernet switches and router (default gateway) present.
• Understand how to configure devices’ serial comm settings in ethernet RS-232 or RS-485.
• Experience in HMI screen development.

SCADA Engineer – Renewables, Grid

Manager

• Manages and coordinates all on-site subcontractor activities for compliance with the CPM schedule and monitors and enforces compliance with subcontract requirements
• Implements the Project Construction Execution Plan
• Supervises and mentors all superintendents; monitors their activities and provides leadership
• Monitors and reports on construction productivity and schedule performance (including trends) to the Project Field Manager and Field Project Controls Manager
• Takes actions necessary to meet project budget and schedule requirements
• Directs the establishment and implementation of subcontractor schedule recovery plans as required
• Coordinates the Construction Completion Walkdowns and the complete hand over of start-up packages to the Startup Manager and supervises the close out of all punch list items

• Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set by the project managers based off client needs
• Apply advanced knowledge of civil engineering design principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility layout using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Independently prepare erosion and sediment control designs compliant with regulatory standards and environmental requirements
• Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and calculations using specialized tools within Civil 3D
• Analyze, design and optimize water systems using Water distribution network modelling software such as WaterCAD

• Manage all aspects of small to medium Advanced Power Generation (APG) Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) projects
• Responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope
• Prepare a variety of complex managerial and engineering deliverables
• Oversee and mentor a multi-discipline team including field engineers, construction managers, project controllers and schedulers
