About the role
- Define and document the high-level design for the D&T tooling landscape aligned to the baselined Metamodel and Detailed Data Model.
- Identify where data entities, attributes, and relationships are mastered vs. consumed across systems.
- Evaluate existing tools, integrations, and automations to inform the architecture design.
- Establish the roadmap and sequencing for implementation, including integration and data migration strategy.
- Design for resilience and flexibility, ensuring data integrity through organisational and tooling changes.
- Define data synchronisation and sharing principles that enforce agreed data mastery.
- Balance access, performance, and licensing costs to maximise value across platforms.
- Support alignment to Knowledge Management and broader enterprise data strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in solution or enterprise architecture across data and tooling environments.
- Deep understanding of data integration, metadata management, and data governance.
- Strong familiarity with architectural frameworks, metamodels, and conceptual data design.
- Experience designing and implementing tooling architectures (e.g. Collibra, Alation, ServiceNow, Azure, Databricks).
- Practical knowledge of data migration, API integration, and system interoperability.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to define scalable and future-proof architecture solutions.
