Manage, motivate and develop a sales team to maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities across the South Central Region to deliver profitable revenue growth for the SME division.
Manage and influence day-to-day and strategic issues within the new business team.
Drive return on sales through planned, objective management of the sales team's activities and processes.
Ensure Biffa stays ahead in service offering, business model and operating methods.
Deliver sales teams' target performance at regional and depot level.
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets.
Manage a sales territory and/or prospect lists for business opportunities.
Report calls, leads, quotes and contract activity into the Company Operating System.
Produce and present weekly, monthly and quarterly personal performance reports.
Liaise with Depot Manager / RGM to determine and roll out sales offensives within the region.
Act as the primary interface between Biffa and target customers.
Responsible for sales prospecting and pricing negotiations.
Requirements
Proven track record in managing a Field sales team.
Proven track record in sales selling contracted services.
