Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the company’s market share in the WealthTech sector
Ensure the Sales Team’s strategy and goals are aligned to BetaNXT’s strategy and mission
Lead, coach, and mentor the Sales Team (both Enterprise and Product sales), ensuring they meet individual and team performance goals. A key area of focus will be on guiding the team to closing new business and achieving better wallet-share penetration for current clients
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by developing relationships with key decision-makers in the wealth management universe, traditional banks, broker dealers, family offices, other financial institutions, payment providers, established and emerging fin-tech providers and other relevant industries
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and Account Management teams to refine product offerings and create tailored solutions for clients and prospects
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify growth opportunities and align the sales team to those opportunities
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service to close deals effectively and in alignment with company objectives
Create, monitor and maintain the sales pipeline and revenue forecasts, and provide regular updates to senior management
Ensure the Salesforce application is updated and reflects all current activity for all team members. Work to ensure proper reporting and systems enhancements are completed
Stay updated and current and act as the SME for latest trends, regulations, and technologies in the FinTech and Wealth Management landscape to ensure the company remains competitive
Leverage industry contacts and market knowledge to refine BetaNXT’s approach to sales
Develop training a coaching sessions and tools to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge growth across the Sales Team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Industry credentials such as FINRA Series exams and/or SIFMA Institute are also a plus
10+ years of sales management experience in the FinTech or Wealth Management or financial services industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in a private equity owned or managed business is preferred
Proven track record of managing and developing successful sales teams in the Wealth Management and financial services industry and delivery growth and a commitment to success
In-depth knowledge of financial technology products, including payment solutions, blockchain, banking software, and digital financial services
Strong network of contacts in the financial services industry, including C-level executives and Board-level executives. Proven ability to interact and influence at this level is key
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess customer needs and align them with innovative solutions. Understanding and ability to create reports and use data to drive decision-making
Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
