About the role
- Advise affiliated agents and affiliate support staff on required coverages and policy provisions
- Analyze, rate, and underwrite accounts involving significant risks
- Provide support to the team in analyzing underwriting needs
- Coordinate inspections and review inspection reports
- Conduct transaction checks and audits
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial insurance underwriting
- Valid commercial insurance agent certificate from the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers)
- Insurance Professional of Canada (PAA) or Fellow, Insurance Professional of Canada (FPAA), or currently working toward one of these designations
- Intermediate proficiency in spoken English (oral only)
