• Serve as the senior technical authority for the Lab Notebook and Enterprise Lifecycle teams, driving the design and development of the Notebook, structured data-input, and enterprise lifecycle systems that anchor the Benchling product.
• Independently architect and implement solutions to complex, open-ended problems — from system architecture to backend models and APIs to rich frontend UI — in areas such as comprehensive audit coverage, review and approval flows, scalable export systems, backups, and document lifecycle management.

• Manage initial rollouts for new Benchling customers as well as expansion projects with new teams or for new processes at existing customers

• Define how Benchling wins in the scientific infrastructure space by articulating the value of Benchling as an integration backbone not just a workflow tool.
• Translate technically complex capabilities — event-driven pipelines, SQL/API data access, in-platform analysis, and custom code environments — into sharp messaging that drives understanding and adoption.
• Own launches end-to-end. You'll lead upcoming releases across Platform, Ecosystem, and Automation and Analytics products, coordinating across Product, Sales, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success to drive field readiness and market impact.
• Develop quarterly and annual plans with clear metrics. Partner with Product on roadmap prioritization and with Sales on expansion plays — turning our products into a material and measurable revenue driver.
