About the role
- Prospecting, qualifying, and advancing potential partnership opportunities with payer and provider organizations
- Manage prospect stakeholders through the sales cycle
- Prepare customized presentations/proposals of Belong Health’s solutions
- Develop and maintain sales process operations
- Partner cross-functionally to enable highly coordinated partnerships
- Conduct research and prospecting to identify potential partnership opportunities with payer and provider organizations
- Qualify and prioritize potential leads based on fit with Belong Health's solutions and target market criteria
- In partnership with the VP of Growth, manage the sales cycle, including outreach, stakeholder alignment, partnership terms negotiation, and agreement finalization
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Belong Health's solutions, including the technology and services offered, to effectively communicate value propositions to potential partners
- Develop and maintain industry leading expertise around Medicare programs, Special Needs Plans, and value-based care
- Analyze market dynamics (competitive, network, utilization) to uncover key insights for prospects
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Analytics and Product, to gather relevant data and insights to support business development efforts
- Represent Belong Health at relevant industry conferences and events, and participate in professional organizations to generate interest and build relationships
- Create sales collateral, presentations, and other marketing materials to support the Growth team
Requirements
- Experience in solution-based selling or consulting within payer or provider organizations
- Experience in value-based care
- Strong research, analytical, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Superuser of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across various functional areas
- 3+ years in management consulting with payers/providers (preferred)
- 3+ years in account management, business development, growth or partnership roles in the healthcare industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, particularly related to value-based care, Medicare Advantage and Special Needs Plans, CMS/CMMI programs, Accountable Care Organizations, clinical programs for complex populations (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Training or certification in sales, business development, or healthcare-related disciplines is a plus
