About the role
- Lead small to medium client projects in conception, execution, and integration of data and analytics projects for pharmaceutical and life science commercial efforts
- Lead client interactions for existing and future projects and identify areas for firm growth
- Provide project leadership to develop and execute market access strategies and perform stakeholder research (payers, specialty pharmacies, distributors, integrated health systems)
- Oversee and develop proposals ensuring methodological soundness and deliver high-quality client services on time and on budget
- Build and plan complex enhancements to deliverables, research, reports, online tools, analyses, and data processes
- Support project execution and delivery, monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed
- Direct pricing, market access, payer market research, and payer/channel analytics teams producing value assessments, pricing, account/channel analyses, dashboards, and scorecards
- Frequently utilize coding to facilitate data processing, analytics, and reporting
- Grow external client engagements and own client relationships; manage project finances, SOWs, and invoices
- Identify areas for firm growth and create action plans for new offerings or practice areas
- Lead, motivate, and mentor diverse teams; serve as Professional Development Manager for junior team members
- Contribute to recruiting, training, internal initiatives, and day-to-day office operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 6+ years’ professional experience
- Experience in the life sciences/pharma industry in market access, market research, pricing, and contracting
- Effective leadership, people management, and project management skills
- Strong understanding of US and global market access strategy, analytics, and operations
- Coding skills (SAS, Python, VBA, etc.)
- Knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) and advanced Excel skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business acumen, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience as a team leader or people manager
- Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; company will not sponsor visas
