About the role

  • Implement, direct, and control region sales activities.
  • Recommend, implement, and promote contests and other incentive programs.
  • Recruit, interview, and select sales and clinical personnel.
  • Develop region personnel to assume increased responsibilities.
  • Plan and conduct regional sales meetings.
  • Communicate with the Area Vice President of Sales on pricing, product acceptance, industry/competitive trends, and marketing strategies.
  • Travel with sales associates and clinical specialists within the geography on a weekly basis.
  • Recommend changes in compensation for regional employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Five years of outside medical sales experience or equivalency.
  • Demonstrated human relations and communication skills.
  • Proven top 20% sales performance in multiple years.
  • Successful proven track record of leading people and/or teams.
