About the role
- Maintaining, leading and developing the project execution process, from quotation request, through contract award to project closeout
- Serving as the primary customer contact, developing relationships, and managing contracts effectively
- Managing project risk, including change/supplier management, resolving issues, and ensuring quality of on-time and on-budget delivery
- Reporting on progress, communicating internally and externally and knowledge-sharing across projects to ensure and inform best practice
- Developing and maintaining a good working relationship with the Customer and its representatives.
- Ensuring that project schedule with milestones, manpower requirements and cost budgets are established
- Leading and developing the internal project team in support of achieving the agreed project goals.
- Monitoring the project performance in a systematic way regarding quality, safety, progress, cost and mitigating actions if deviations occur.
- Supporting ongoing Business Development activities and providing support to tendering process.
- Managing internal Variation Orders and Customer instigated Change Orders, including their internal price clearance, submission and negotiation, implementation, and tracking
Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Project Planning.
- Possess interest and awareness of digital technology and its application in the Engineering field
- Be able to show experience and understanding of design process management when delivering integrated system solutions
- Have some previous experience of working in Quality Managed systems and companies.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate highly technical information in a clear, concise manner
- Demonstrate good commercial awareness, excellent leadership skills and an adaptable working style
