Customer Success Manager

• Responsible for increasing revenue by building customer loyalty and brand recognition
• Partners with the Field Sales Support Team to onboard customers to ensure their system foundation is set for future growth
• Use industry and internal company knowledge combined with data and analytics to formulate proactive intelligence models for their customers
• Utilizes extensive product knowledge and problem solving skills to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
• Builds relationships with assigned customers by understanding their analytic and system needs such as pressure, flow, water quality etc. to deliver an overall positive customer experience
• Review and address customer issues and concerns while seeking to improve their overall experience and loyalty
• Provide insight and relay the voice-of-customer with internal teams, including sales, product/software marketing, technical support, field support and engineering
• Promote additional maintenance, training and support programs designed to enhance customer loyalty and experience
• Develop and share best practices with customers and Badger Meter personnel to drive quality, effectiveness and efficiency within our processes
• Assist and manage assigned customer issue escalation and provide problem solving steps as needed to ensure overall customer satisfaction
• Ability to travel up to 75% as needed to support customer requirements

Customer Success Specialist

• Deliver technical and commercial support to existing water and wastewater utility accounts.
• Troubleshoot our hardware and software products to support customers both remotely and in person.
• Rapidly develop the necessary skills through company-provided training to support customer needs.
• Understand how each customer uses our products and seek to identify additional solutions.
• Assist the commercial team with business cases, proposals, presentations, and other activities essential for maintaining and growing accounts.
• Work in compliance with all health and safety and environmental legislation and company policies.

• Responsible for management of the business segment, including competitive analysis and product planning
• Develop short- and long-range business plans for the product lines consistent with market needs
• Forecast business for the product lines within the business segment and coordinate with Manufacturing and Purchasing to manage inventory
• Define and maintain detailed functional definitions of new products based on analysis of market requirements
• Develop marketing plans for specific products, including sales objectives and target market
• Determine product pricing and pricing strategies/policies based on established gross margin objectives
• Prepare competitive analysis and formulation of competitive counter strategies
• Manage product life cycle, including initiation of product improvements and enhance product obsolescence
• Coordinate with strategic business partners to ensure achievement of business plan objectives
