Security Engineer

• Improve application security across software used to enable Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage and Computer Backup
• Build security into how the product is used, how data is stored and how customers can use it
• Leverage AI tools and software for building new and maintaining existing software security features

Senior Software Engineer – Application Security

Product Operations

• R&D Operational Excellence: Optimize the shared terminology, documentation, tooling and processes for product planning and reporting: overseeing the pipeline from incoming ideas/requests through evaluation, prioritization, and delivery
• Ensure cross-functional alignment on program goals, strategy, scope, timelines, and outcomes; maintain strong stakeholder communication and foster a culture of transparency and accountability
• Facilitate quarterly planning meetings with cross-functional teams; support project and epics creation, work intake, and prioritization processes

Communications & Content Manager

Network Engineer

• Support the routine daily activity of the production environment.
• Aid in general equipment, deployment, configuration and maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of L2/L3 network systems within the backend operations, and across the various data center sites (switches, VPNs, IP address spaces, etc).
• Assist in planning, designing, and implementing scalable network solutions to handle year over year growth.
