About the role
- Drive bookings for sample storage services business in the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the sample management services business.
- Develop new business opportunities within the pharma/biopharma and academic markets.
- Organize and conduct sample management services presentations to existing and potential customers.
- Manage the creation and follow-up of sales related documents with Sales Operations team.
- Generate bi-weekly forecasts and prepare quarterly reports in conjunction with the Manager’s needs.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales goals by deploying predefined territory strategies focused on growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; Science related field preferred.
- Proven track record of 3+ years in Life Science service (preferred) or laboratory capital equipment sales.
- Familiarity with CRM software Salesforce.
- Understanding and application of selling skills (like Miller Heiman/Kron Ferry)
- Intermediate level experience with MS Excel.
- Must be willing to travel to client sites, trade shows and conferences.
