About the role
- Enhance and deploy in-store technologies to ensure seamless and consistent user and visual experiences across multiple digital platforms
- Enable digital technology to drive performance and enhance operational efficiency
- Oversee implementation of enablement tools, including modern AI tools, to enhance the visual experience
- Serve as key liaison and partner to cross-functional teams to improve and integrate UX across self-order kiosks, QR codes, and other order & pay platforms
- Implement marketing and loyalty programs ensuring consistent UX/UI across digital platforms and omni-channel experience, compliance with promotions, and revenue generation
- Monetize and enhance the digital environment; explore opportunities for ad revenue
- Develop creative strategies to increase revenue and implement new operational digital solutions aligned with airport-specific strategic initiatives
- Create and manage a digital toolkit; track RFP digital/marketing initiatives and deliverables
- Communicate operational implications of digital initiatives and suggest solutions and process improvements
- Report to the Director of Digital Business Solutions
Requirements
- Combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years
- Preferred 2 years supervising or influencing a team of professionals in digital business solutions, operations, or process management
- 5 years engaged in developing and delivering digital business solutions, operations, or process management (technical role)
- A bachelor’s degree in a related program can count for 3 of the 5-year requirement
- 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
- Ability to connect airport plans to team work while providing context, details, and digital solutions
- Demonstrated understanding of the business industry & IT strategies
- Proven experience executing and implementing wired and cloud-based technology solutions
- Experience with AI tools and digital ad management a plus
- Ability to navigate project scope with understanding of growth and profitability drivers
- Ability to communicate plans and initiatives to stakeholders (airport authorities, Operations, brands)
- Business acumen and long-term digital management planning mindset
- Demonstrated history of understanding needs of business, stakeholders, employee population and individual circumstances
- Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments through coaching, developing, and leading teams
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to airport locations and vendor offices
- Candidates may be based in Bethesda, MD or East Rutherford, NJ or remote candidates located near a major airport
