• 1st point of contact for all internal and external customer enquires through the telephone and visitors to the Maidenhead Office; ensure enquiries passed to relevant person/department
• Ownership of day-to-day office administrative activities: meeting room administration, incoming/outgoing business post and deliveries, support to Exec/SLT, food/drink orders, asset tagging management
• Effective management of company car and van fleet: AVK car database, vehicle maintenance and servicing, accidents and repairs, pool cars, reporting
• Assist the Facilities Manager to maintain a safe, clean, and organised office environment
• Act as main point of contact for office-related queries and facility issues
• Oversee office cleanliness and assist with COSHH (cleaning materials)
• Weekly water flush (legionella) and record keeping
• Enforce clear desk policies and monitor/manage visitor access and security procedures
• Assist Senior Office Administrator with team flight/hotel/hire car bookings
• Support company mobile phones administration activities
• Support office supplies, stationery, and equipment orders
• Support company client feedback questionnaire
• Assist team with document management, filing and record-keeping
• Other office administrative duties as requested by the business
• Some travel to other AVK offices may be required

Office Administrator

Manager

• Responsible for ensuring that business areas are fully prepared to receive and adopt changes delivered by projects and programs, including stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, communication, training coordination, and readiness assessments.
• Develop and execute business readiness plans aligned with project milestones and delivery timelines.
• Work with and alongside the Service Director to identify key business capabilities for change adoption.
• Collaborate with business leaders, the wider service management team and functional leads to assess and manage impacts.
• Act as the liaison between Business Operations and the Service Management team.
• Analyse the scope of change and assess impacts on people, processes and systems.
• Identify readiness gaps and work with relevant teams to address them.
• Develop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Co-ordinate training efforts to ensure end-users are equipped to adopt new ways of working.
• Conduct readiness reviews to evaluate the organisation's ability to transition to the new processes / systems / ways of working.
• Encourage collaboration and cross functional working.
• Monitor progress and escalate risk or issues that may affect successful implementation.
• Support the business during early stages of adoption, addressing issues and stabilising operations.
• Collect feedback and ensure lessons learned are documented.
• Report on readiness status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and steering committees.
• Ensure alignment with project governance and organisational change standards.
• Role will involve travel to other AVK Sites.

Business Readiness Manager

Mechanical Engineer

• Take total responsibility for implementation of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting customer specifications and expectations.
• Be customer focused and self-motivated; liaise with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Manage numerous projects running concurrently varying in value.
• Develop and create project-specific engineering documentation.
• Deliver projects in accordance with technical requirements of the contract.
• Be aware of contractual requirements, payment milestones, key dates, technical and H&S requirements.
• Commission control systems, perform performance testing, and carry out factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT).
• Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems for generator and power distribution applications.
• Read and interpret LV and HV electrical schematics for system integration and fault diagnostics.
• Program and configure PLCs (Allen-Bradley or Schneider) for power generation and distribution systems.
• Develop and modify HMI/SCADA interfaces for system monitoring and operator control.
• Configure and troubleshoot ComAp generator controllers, including synchronization, load sharing, and remote monitoring features.
• Implement and test circuit breaker switching logic, interlocks, and protection schemes.
• Collaborate with electrical design engineers, site engineers, and commissioning teams to deliver integrated control solutions.
• Support site commissioning and FAT/SAT testing of control panels and generator systems.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including I/O lists, control philosophies, and test protocols.

Design Engineer

• The UK&I Service Manager position is a pivotal role in the implementation, managing and maintaining of the successful delivery of the Service contract operations across the UK&I team working in partnership with the wider service business.
• Develop key relationships with clients to ensure our high level of standards and quality of delivery is met with a strong focus on customer experience and process efficiency.
• Ensure that contracts are delivered effectively and inline with profit expectations. This role involves high levels of travel to Ireland/UK, other AVK offices and client sites.
• Build and maintain strong, long term client relationships
• Engage key stakeholders to ensure that key deliverables are achievable
• Co-ordinate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met
• Proactively address client issues and concerns to maintain satisfaction
• Manage the delivery of all UK&I field-based services to ensure effective delivery whist ensuring profitability
• Work with Technical Services to ensure that we operate as ‘one team’ and that Technical considerations have been met on all service works
• Ensure all remedial works are planned to achieve first-time fix
• Work with clients and AVK Account Managers to understand any cost efficiencies and also feedback any potential impacts/improvements
• Ensure field engineers are engaged and given sufficient notice of all planned works
• Ensure that Call Out cover is in place for all territories and effectively communicated across all functions
• Work in conjunction with the AVK Account Managers to ensure smooth delivery of contracted works in line with targets, revenues and margins
• Manage and oversee all customer requests, scheduling of activities and parts availability to ensure effective service operations
• Support the development and management of processes and standards to ensure accuracy of information to facilitate the scheduling of works
• Coach teams to develop client relationships via phones calls as a priority with emails follow up to confirm conversations
• Ownership of the financial administration and co-ordination of delivery for all service based works across UK&I
• Lead lifecycle planning schedules working alongside Account Managers and Technical Services
• Ensure effective communication and customer excellence is centric in all we do
