Manager

• Lead the development and implementation of AVK’s environmental strategy, including a roadmap towards our net-zero goal by 2050, biodiversity initiatives and broader CSR ambitions.
• Design and embed initiatives to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions, improve internal resource efficiency, and manage operational environmental risks.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of CSR and the Responsible Sourcing Manager to ensure alignment between environmental objectives and broader sustainability goals.
• Own, maintain and continuously improve on AVK’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring up-to-date risk registers (legal, environmental, other relevant impacts) and audit readiness across all sites.
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations including energy (e.g. ESOS), waste management obligations (e.g. waste carrier and exemption licenses, consignment notes), and other reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and tender requirements related to environmental credentials.
• Lead the development and delivery of AVK’s Sustainability Report (environmental sections), aligned to recognised international reporting standards (e.g. GRI) and external stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee SECR and internal Environmental Impact Reports, including project-specific embodied carbon reporting.
• Put systems and processes in place to improve environmental data quality across the business by coordinating data collection for drivers of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emission categories.
• Collaborate with the Responsible Sourcing Manager to ensure environmental expectations are incorporated into supplier onboarding and Scope 3 reporting.
• Engage with customers to understand environmental expectations and turn requirements into clear, practical delivery mechanisms.
• Support Sales Teams in bidding for new projects and engaging customers on AVK’s environmental commitments.
• Build environmental awareness within AVK through training, campaigns, and guidance materials (e.g. toolbox talks, internal comms briefings, digital learning tools).
• Champion environmental thinking within project planning and engineering conversations.

Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager

Mechanical Engineer

• Produce mechanical designs for UPS and Generator systems.
• Provide technical support to Sales during pre‑contract phases.
• Own mechanical package design from handover to completion.
• Develop design documentation including drawings, data sheets, calculations.
• Support Project Managers with documentation and testing procedures.
• Attend client, supplier and witness test meetings.
• Lead technical studies on mechanical systems.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Engineer

• - Assisting Technicians and Engineers: Supporting skilled workers during the testing and verification of equipment, ensuring systems are operating correctly.
• - Carrying Tools and Equipment: Transporting and setting up tools, machines, and other materials needed for testing or inspections.
• - Basic Installation Work: Assisting with minor installation tasks such as fixing parts or connecting equipment under supervision.
• - Cleaning and Preparing Workspaces: Keeping work areas organized, and prepared for tests or inspections.
• - Safety Checks: Assisting in performing safety checks and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
• - Data Collection: Assist recording readings or observations for reporting.

Associate Commissioning Engineer

• - Provide up front technical support to the sales department on the specification and design of Gas systems, specifically focussing on electrical packages.
• - Assist sales department in the preparation of technical proposals & submissions including; review of client specifications, generation of technical compliance statements, development of proposal drawings and preparation of initial design documentation.
• - Take responsibility for the specification & design of electrical packages on Gas projects from project handover to completion, providing technical support throughout.
• - Develop design documentation (drawings, technical data sheets, control philosophies, cable schedules, cable calculations, etc.) in line with project requirements and timescales.
• - Assist Project Managers with generation of project specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments in accordance with project specifications.
• - Attend client and supplier design meetings as required thought out project cycle, from pre-sales to project completion.
• - Prepare and issue detailed scope of works requirements for sub-contractors.

Electrical Design Engineer

Operations

• Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the Client Operations team, including sales, client onboarding, account management operations and scheduling functions.
• Client Onboarding & Delivery: Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring seamless transitions from sales to service. Continuously optimise onboarding workflows for speed, consistency, and satisfaction.
• Process Optimisation: Design and implement operational processes, policies, and standards to improve client experience, reduce churn, and ensure service-level compliance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with wider AVK stakeholders to ensure alignment on client needs, service expectations, and business priorities.
• Client Satisfaction & Retention: Monitor and improve client satisfaction metrics, identify pain points, and work cross-functionally to drive retention strategies and value based propositions.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse operational data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and make informed strategic decisions.
• Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity

Head of Client Operations

Accountant

• - Prepare monthly management accounts for ePODs and Emissions divisions, including detailed P&L analysis, project gross margins, and overhead tracking.
• - Track and analyse actuals vs budget, providing commentary and insight to the Financial Controller and divisional leads.
• - Support intercompany cost allocations and recharges for shared resources and central support.
• - Work closely with operational teams to validate costs, accruals, and WIP balances.
• - Ensure accurate recording of project costs (materials, labour, sub-contractors), linked to project milestones.
• - Maintain clear visibility of gross margins across major projects; work with delivery teams to validate forecast outcomes.
• - Prepare monthly project profitability analysis to feed into commercial reviews.
• - Support the annual budget and rolling reforecast processes for ePODs and Emissions.
• - Input into revenue phasing, capex plans and divisional overheads.
• - Prepare supporting schedules for financial modelling and group reporting.
• - Work with the Assistant Accountant to ensure timely month-end close (journals, reconciliations, accruals).
• - Support audit and year-end deliverables.
• - Maintain integrity of finance systems (NetSuite, Proscope) and project accounting structures.
• - Collaborate with FP&A and commercial teams to ensure aligned reporting and KPI visibility.

Management Accountant

• Responsible for managing the Field Service Engineers and supporting service delivery functions.
• Advise service teams across the UK on technical issues to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Deliver effective leadership and motivation, managing daily KPI’s and planning schedules.
• Frequent travel to AVK Offices and client sites for in-field visits with Service Engineers.
• Monitor and review service call resolution rates and preventive maintenance compliance.
• Ensure high standards of health & safety and employee engagement.
