About the role
- Maintain and advance our Education and Medical Research Sales Efforts
- Consultatively sell Avantor's large portfolio of products and services
- Develop and implement an agreed upon Operating Plan
- Identify customer needs, present tailored solutions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Manage a diverse product portfolio
- Prospect and acquire new customers
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent/applicable experience required
- 2–5 years of success in complex sales environments
- Solid background in B2B sales
- Proficiency with CRM systems
- Experience applying best-in-class sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN Selling)
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Willingness to travel to customer locations minimum 3 days a week
- Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office, specifically Teams
