Designer

• Create multiple view 3D and 2D drawings with accurate details, section views, and dimensions for shop, fabrication, and installation in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Revise drawings in accordance with marked-up prints, sketches, written, or verbal instructions provided by other team members
• Create bill of materials and change order lists to communicate job requirements that ensure order accuracy
• Collaborate within the team to understand the project requirements and bring forward recommendations
• Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and other consultants as needed
• Research and obtain specifications/details from vendors for custom items as required
• Provide technical support to internal customers
• Lead space planning, layout, and utilization of furnishings, both new and existing, using understanding for value engineering and furniture supply chain program
• Adhere to schedules and adapt to changes as needed
• Accountable for accuracy of design and take-off for technical and process standards
• Maintain knowledge of lab furniture market, supplier base, and SEFA laboratory standards
