Lead and support quality improvement projects to enhance product and process performance
Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation procedures for products and production equipment
Design and specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment
Conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability
Assist in the creation of engineering documentation including PPAP, control plans, daily inspection sheets, TPA, AS412 instructions, LATs, and test summary reports
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation complies with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to uphold quality standards
Provide support across design, incoming material inspection, production control, product evaluation, inventory control, and R&D as it relates to quality
Support new product launches and provide quality input during development
Offer feedback and recommendations to leadership to drive continuous improvement
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree required
Experience in chemical processing
Experience with pyrotechnics
Familiarity with statistical tools and quality methodologies
Demonstrate strong listening skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Apply DOE and SPC concepts for process control and improvement
