Report into the Group Financial Director and own the Tax Manager role for Aurora Energy Research
Review and evaluate the Group’s international tax strategy and provide tax advice to Executive Leadership and Management Teams
Own overall international tax compliance across all areas of tax, including corporation tax, direct taxes and employment taxes in all jurisdictions
Responsible for corporation tax compliance, QIPs calculation, year end tax computations, audit queries and timely submission of corporation tax returns
Own and maintain the Group’s transfer pricing policy and ensure suitability during international growth
Support entry into new markets by evaluating tax implications, advising on corporate structures, direct and indirect tax compliance and contracting entities
Oversee employment taxes prepared by outsourced payroll teams and implement STBV process
Lead and support R&D tax relief claims and manage relationships with external tax advisers
Monitor and lead on tax regulatory changes, including e-invoicing laws, ensuring timely compliance with minimal disruption to trade
Requirements
CTA qualified with at least 1 year industry experience
Experience in and advanced understanding of all taxes, direct, indirect and employment related
Confident communicator, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
Experience of working in a fast paced and fast-growth environment
