About the role
- Concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field
- When not in the field, collaborate with team from assigned office location
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and consultation to direct sales teams and customers on design, customization, and implementation of complex products and services
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced sales solutions and identify/implement process enhancements
- Ensure product integration, troubleshoot and escalate issues, support sales plans, and provide training to sales teams and customers
- Manage deployment projects, align technical solutions with business goals, and lead technical discussions in client meetings
- Design solutions, support sales presentations, create prototypes, maintain product knowledge, and document systems and processes
- Mentor colleagues, introduce new products, and lead training; responsible for meeting higher-than-average sales quota
Requirements
- 8+ years of related sales experience
- Wireline knowledge; AT&T Product Knowledge, AT&T Systems, and tools knowledge (Large focus on Ethernet and Wavelength)
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
- Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Technical savvy, including SME level knowledge for Ethernet and Wavelength services
- Strong customer relationship building and consultative selling skill set
- Ability to effectively manage a large number of complex and technically demanding projects at the same time
- Ability to acquire new business and conduct customer visits in the field
- Experience managing large, complex sales with higher-than-average sales quota
- Ability to introduce new products, lead training, and mentor colleagues
- Willingness to travel for field/customer visits and conduct in-person meetings from assigned office when not in field
