Director

• The Director, Scholarship Management, leads the day-to-day operations of the ASPCA Veterinary Scholarship.
• The Director ensures that the scholarship program aligns with the organization’s strategic goals for access to care and impact, and that the program's goals, eligibility criteria, application timelines, and evaluation rubrics are consistent with organizational values, objectives, and standard practices.
• The Director also leads the creation and implementation of the ASPCA Veterinary Scholar Network, ensuring that current and former ASPCA Scholars remain engaged with the organization throughout their award lifecycle and beyond.
• This position requires a great deal of initiative to develop and launch a new program while learning and adjusting along the way.
• The Director will oversee the external scholarship management firm and guide the collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Communications.
• The Director will also be comfortable working independently to make sound and timely decisions while navigating potential ambiguity in launching and managing two new programs.
