Understand, implement, and develop strategies to drive growth for Ascend Technologies Managed Services offerings
Leverage consultative selling techniques with an emphasis on business outcomes
Develop new accounts and opportunities and grow assigned territory
Build strong client and partner relationships and identify key business opportunities
Implement customized solutions that align with customer goals and Ascend Technologies’ strategic objectives
Negotiate deals, close business, and achieve targets
Qualify opportunities using Ascend best practices and lead the Ascend team through the sales process
Learn and communicate Ascend differentiators, value proposition, competition, and client journey for each service line
Maintain accurate Salesforce records weekly and provide quarterly forecasting
Participate in ORB and Win Room meetings and perform other responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years successful managed services sales experience
Minimum of 5 years successful new account development experience
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, or a technology field
Ability to confidently develop relationships with the highest-level decision makers in an organization
Ability to sell in a consultative manner focusing on business outcomes
Experience with premium, complex B2B services sales
Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
Strong emphasis on the ability to develop and follow through on sales and account plans
Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, and creativity with the ability to identify and convey successful sales/marketing approaches and techniques
PC and Internet skills with a firm grasp of how to use Microsoft Office tools and Salesforce
