About the role
- The Retail Account Manager is a key member of the North American sales team, responsible for driving margin growth, profitability, and simplification within the retail segment.
Focuses on building and managing strategic customer relationships, understanding technical requirements, and collaborating cross-functionally to align with Armacell’s North American Strategic Plan.
Develop and manage key retail accounts, ensuring alignment with segment budget and profit targets.
Execute the national sales strategy to meet retail sales objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitors to recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
Deliver persuasive sales presentations and negotiate tailored programs to grow or maintain share within retail and distribution partners.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional programs in line with retail channel strategy.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines and stay current with industry developments through trade shows and market research.
Ensure retail initiatives and operations comply with applicable regulations and quality standards.
Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer orders.
Serve as the primary contact for retail merchant teams or rep agencies, ensuring consistent communication and execution of business priorities.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Marketing, Finance, Communications or other relevant field
Proven success in retail sales and/or account management – internship included
Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Experience developing and executing business plans and retail strategies – preferred
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product development.
Highly motivated, proactive, and customer-focused.
Ability to travel up to 30%; valid driver’s license required.
