About the role
- Pursue and generate consultative and transactional sales with new and existing Acute Care customers in the Northeast region.
- Achieve established sales goals and key performance indicators within expected timeframes.
- Plan territory sales strategies to make the most efficient use of time while meeting individual and team goals.
- Create new sales opportunities through regular visits, customer engagements, facility needs-analysis, and lead qualification.
- Present, promote, and sell Huntleigh products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Product demonstrations to generate sales opportunities and corresponding in-service training.
- Substantial time will be spent in the OR assisting/demonstrating Huntleigh's Intra-operative Doppler probe system.
- Document in SFDC all planned activities, sales call logs, account information, sales opportunities, and quotes.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts and detailed pipeline and activity reports as required.
- Maintain beneficial relationships with customers and achieve long-term account growth aligned with Arjo’s strategic plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 2 years of successful medical products sales experience in consultative or concept-selling environment.
- Experience selling in Hospital OR setting strongly preferred.
- Experience of selling capital equipment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
- Demonstrated experience preparing quotes using a configure-price-quote software system preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- 50% Travel Requirement.
