About the role
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive sustainable growth, increase market share, and meet profitability targets
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Manufacturer's Reps
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with national, regional and independent wholesale distributors, independent dealers, contractors, builders, and specifiers
- Work with distribution partners to ensure product availability and drive regular sales
- Monitor regional sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the National Sales Director
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of outside sales or business development experience in the water heating, hydronics, or HVAC industry
- Proven track record of managing regional distribution accounts and building down-channel relationships with contractors
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective sales strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a history of building strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software for sales reporting, proposal development, and pipeline management
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
