Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive sustainable growth, increase market share, and meet profitability targets
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Manufacturer's Reps
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with national, regional and independent wholesale distributors, independent dealers, contractors, builders, and specifiers
Work with distribution partners to ensure product availability and drive regular sales
Monitor regional sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the National Sales Director
Requirements
A minimum of 5+ years of outside sales or business development experience in the water heating, hydronics, or HVAC industry
Proven track record of managing regional distribution accounts and building down-channel relationships with contractors
Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective sales strategies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a history of building strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software for sales reporting, proposal development, and pipeline management
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
