Backend Engineer

• Fullstack Development: Design, develop, and implement highly scalable and reliable web applications and services using PHP, focusing on robust back-end logic, API development, and seamless front-end integration.
• System Architecture: Contribute to the architectural design of our distributed systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability across the entire platform.
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage complex relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) using ORM frameworks like Doctrine, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval for mission-critical applications.
• Front-end Development: Build responsive, intuitive, and performant user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Twig ensuring an exceptional user experience for clinical and administrative workflows.
• Deployment & Operations: Work with modern deployment tools and practices, including Kubernetes, to ensure continuous integration, delivery, and robust operational stability of our services.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, AI engineers, and other engineering teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions and deliver features that drive the intelligent operating system.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and conduct code reviews for junior engineers, championing best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
• Testing & Quality: Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and functional testing strategies to ensure the highest quality and reliability of all developed components.
• Hiring & Onboarding: Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members, helping to grow a world-class engineering organization.

Senior Fullstack Engineer, PHP

Marketing

• Own the messaging and positioning of Arbiter’s enterprise products.
• Develop clear Ideal Customer Profile and persona-specific narratives across payers and providers.
• Lead analysis and category framing.
• Develop battlecards, win/loss insights, and POVs that equip sales.
• Build and maintain core sales assets, including pitch decks and one-pagers.
• Own customer story development, including case studies and proof points.
• Lead GTM and launch strategy for new products and partnerships.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Executive leadership.

Senior Enterprise Marketing Manager

• Design, build, and operate the backend AI systems that power Arbiter’s intelligent care orchestration platform.
• Own critical parts of our agentic infrastructure, from low-latency inference pipelines to workflow automation and service orchestration.
• Ship and maintain production-grade AI systems that automate complex clinical and administrative workflows.
• Contribute to the architectural design of Arbiter’s AI-driven platform, emphasizing modularity and scalability.
• Ensure high performance, low latency, and fault tolerance across backend services and AI inference pipelines.
• Implement and uphold best practices for CI/CD, testing, observability, and deployment of backend and AI systems.
• Partner closely with data scientists, product managers, clinical experts, and other engineers.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to internal documentation and standards, and raise the overall engineering bar.
• Take end-to-end ownership of critical systems, including participating in on-call rotations.
