About the role
- Ensure HR activities comply with company's SOPs and local regulations, identify and report non-compliance, and support investigations and audits (NAVEX, JSOX).
- Liaise with HRBP to draft and update SOPs and manage HR audit documentation and responses.
- Oversee HR systems administration and governance: standardize payroll systems, ensure timely accurate employee records, work with HRIT on data security and privacy, participate in system enhancement and data migration projects, lead HR systems implementation and RFPs, evaluate vendors.
- Prepare monthly HR metrics reports, benchmark against local/global HR trends, derive insights and recommend enhancements, resolve data quality issues, and report on HR budget performance including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Measure and monitor HR KPIs, support continuous improvement, recommend process and policy improvements, train HR Operations team and line managers, and implement HR transformation programs.
- Engage stakeholders across HRIT, GR, DE&I, country and corporate levels; consolidate regional and corporate data (e.g., annual compensation review); implement and support BCPs such as COVID-19 reporting and return-to-office initiatives.
Requirements
- Preferred Experience: enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations (preferred over 5 to 10 years).
- Preferred regional or global experience is mandatory for this role (preferred Over 2 to 3 years).
- Preferred managerial experience supervising and directing people and other resources (preferred over 3 years).
- Candidates must be within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office.
