Engineer

• Assists the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of both large and small projects.
• Works effectively and efficiently within prescribed budgets, and monitors performance on a weekly basis.
• Develops and negotiates scopes, fees, and schedules with sub-consultants under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Responsible for developing technical solutions to more complex projects by applying engineering knowledge and skills to produce quality work. Assists in the development and execution of all aspects of the project scope of work.
• Assists the Project Manager in complying with assigned project schedules and budget on more complex projects by actively reporting on project progress and identifying additional work outside the contractual scope.
• Works closely with Project Managers to gain project management experience. Responsible for financial performance on tasks or projects under their control.
• Serves as the Technical Lead in respective discipline for more complex projects, being responsible for the technical coordination among other design disciplines and subcontractors or subconsultants.
• Supervises and trains less experienced staff by proving daily guidance and checking their work and progress. Provides input for completion of annual reviews.
• Develops technical approach, schedules, and fee estimates for proposals on large-scale or more complex projects to produce an effective and quality proposal.
• Maintains quality control within the discipline by reviewing designs, checking calculations, assumptions, and the basis of design on more complex projects.
• Assists in the coordination and attends client meetings, including public hearings. Prepares and performs oral presentations for clients regarding project deliverables.
• Assists Project Manager by leading construction administration tasks such as construction progress meetings; submittal reviews; preparation of meeting agendas and minutes; review of daily and weekly construction reports; preparation of payment applications, RFIs, and change orders; coordination with Resident Project Representatives; completing project closeout; and tracking construction schedules. Provides updates to the Project Manager.
• Demonstrates awareness of corporate priorities regarding quality of work, client satisfaction, and project profitability.
• Understands and is aware of contract terms and conditions, professional liability matters, and advises the Project Manager of any concerns.
• Participates in approved external associations and professional conferences and presents or authors technical papers.
• Identifies areas of potential claims, by preparing documentation and reporting to Project Manager.
• May manage a direct report, including responsibility for workload management, time and expense approval and career path development.

Senior Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater

Project Manager

• Manages project implementation with assigned project team and follows all company policies and operating procedures. This includes keeping the client informed of the on-going status of a project and providing adequate management, advice, and support to the members of the project team
• Initiates projects by developing proposals/scopes of work and project budgets for approval by the Principal. For assigned projects, completes project initiation documents that includes detailed scope/outline, budget, and schedule for completion.
• Supervises and directs individuals or teams of technical staff on projects and assists in the training and technical development of staff by holding training seminars, providing technical guidance during project execution, and bringing new technical developments in-house.
• Consults with other technical staff and Project Managers on technical challenges in the drinking water discipline while also providing independent technical reviews on projects for other water discipline leaders.
• Oversees the technical accuracy of project through regular communications with project staff, review of plans, specifications, reports, and calculations to ensure compliance with the firm's standards.
• Tracks all projects costs, including labor and expenses, versus the project, and ensures that invoices are issued to the client in a timely manner in accordance with company policy.
• Other tasks may include proposal preparation, participating in project interviews, attending public meetings, developing fee proposals, preparing contracts and presenting information to new and future potential clients

Water/Wastewater Project Manager

• Manages project implementation with assigned project team and follows all company policies and operating procedures.
• Initiates projects by developing proposals/scopes of work and project budgets.
• Supervises and directs individuals or teams of technical staff on projects and assists in the training and technical development of staff.
• Consults with other technical staff and Project Managers on technical challenges in the drinking water discipline.
• Oversees the technical accuracy of project through regular communications with project staff, review of plans, specifications, reports, and calculations.
• Tracks all projects costs and ensures timely invoicing to the client.

Program Manager

• Lead multi‑media environmental compliance programs (stormwater, SPCC, air, waste, wastewater).
• Manage compliance for 100+ facilities across multiple states.
• Develop, lead, and mentor high‑performing environmental teams.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring strong communication and excellent service.
• Provide regulatory interpretation and compliance guidance across all media.
• Manage program schedules, budgets, resources, performance metrics, and reporting.
• Prepare and review compliance deliverables including SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, air permitting documents, and waste plans.
• Identify client needs and support account growth.
• Ensure safe execution of all program activities and reinforce a strong safety culture.

Environmental Compliance Program Manager

• Provide day-to-day management of field personnel to ensure quality work products are completed on time and with accuracy.
• Provide review and technical oversight and guidance specific to field data collection and sampling events for stormwater, waste, and wastewater.
• Provide scheduling and logistics management for a large number of monthly, quarterly and annual compliance activities conducted by a team of field personnel.
• Review and understand environmental permits and reports for facilities and operations for clients in various industries including e-commerce, transportation and warehousing.
• Must have a high degree of technical competency in NPDES stormwater (industrial and MS4), SPCC and RCRA.
• Familiarity with applicable environmental programs including but not limited to Stormwater, SPCC, Hazardous Waste, and minor source air permitting, recordkeeping and reporting.
• Client interaction and relationship development includes onsite and virtual client meetings.
• Limited overnight travel, as necessary, up to 20%.
• Effectively manage project deliverables, schedules and budgets.
• Provide guidance to client and/or field staff specific to environmental legislation and regulations and how they may impact client activities.

• Prepare environmental permits and reports for projects, facilities, and operations for clients in various industries including e-commerce, transportation and warehousing.

• Familiarity with applicable environmental programs including but not limited to Stormwater, SPCC, Hazardous Waste, and minor source air permitting, recordkeeping and reporting.
• Provide technical oversight and mentor scientific staff to ensure quality work products are completed on time and with accuracy.
• Client interaction and relationship development including onsite and virtual client meetings. Limited overnight travel, as necessary, is not anticipated to be greater than 10%.

Environmental Compliance Project Manager

• Assist Practice Leaders, Program Managers and Project Managers with contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking contract documents, amendments, sub-agreements, and compliance requirements.
• Support project setup in internal systems, ensuring accuracy of budgets, billing rates, task codes, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate project communication cadence, deadlines, and deliverables with internal staff and external partners.
• Maintain project files, documentation logs, subcontractor records, and any required QA/QC forms in designated systems.
• Track project progress, deliverable status, risks, and issues; assist with preparing project status reports.
• Support invoice preparation, accounts payable coordination, and monthly billing cycles.
• Monitor aged receivables and support with collections when needed.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings, take notes, and distribute action items.
• Provide general administrative support to project teams across the Compliance Assurance Practice Line.

Compliance Assurance Project Administrator

• Serve as senior technical lead on projects with revenue of $2M to $3M annually.
• Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects at greater than $500K annually, with a focus on brownfields redevelopment, groundwater/soil characterization and remediation, landfill engineering, or water resources;
• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Assist with project management activities.
• Mentor and train technical staff and ensure quality work products.

Senior Environmental, Remediation Engineer

Designer

• Drafting & Modeling: Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Plant 3D, or similar design software.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design documents.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards, municipal specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & File Management: Maintain organized project files, revise drawings as needed and assist in preparing documentation packages for client and regulatory approvals.
• Technical Support: Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design modifications to ensure design accuracy and consistency.

CAD Designer

• Assist Project Managers with contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking contract documents, amendments, sub-agreements, vendor setups, and compliance requirements
• Support project setup in internal systems, ensuring accuracy of budgets, billing rates, task codes, and contractual obligations
• Coordinate project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables with internal staff and external partners
