About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct field-based activities such as site inspections, sample collection, testing, and analysis
  • Assist with installing, operating, and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation systems
  • Manage and oversee subcontractors in the field
  • Assist with project engineering design
  • Assist with writing technical reports, proposals, and permitting documents
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data
  • Input data into template reports
  • Assist with project oversight.
  • Ensure safe work practices on all project work.
  • Actively develop your own career growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS in Environmental Engineering
  • EIT certification is a plus
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred, or ability to obtain certification at start of employment
  • Awareness of and/or experience with environmental remediation including soil, soil gas, and groundwater treatment systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with the PRP (Petroleum Restoration Program)
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
  • Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness
  • Strong safety record and understanding of safe work practices
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify, collect, organize, and document information and data.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
  • 80-90% fieldwork/travel to support and gain experience at a variety of project sites in Florida.
