Coordinate onboarding and orientation: schedule onboarding sessions and employee orientation with recruiting, program/department, and IT
Payroll & timekeeping: prepare and process payroll, support timekeeping systems, enter new hire information, update employee records, and run payroll-related reports
Employee support: respond to employee questions and inquiries related to policies, procedures, timekeeping, and other HR matters; assist employees through HR processes
HR systems & reporting: maintain and update HRIS records, support system accuracy, generate recurring and ad hoc reports, and support annual reporting requirements
Compliance: support compliance efforts ensuring HR practices adhere to local, state, and federal labor regulations
Communications & presentations: assist in development of HR announcements and internal communications; prepare PowerPoint slide presentations for meetings and trainings
Provide comprehensive HR administrative support across recruiting coordination, onboarding, timesheet support, payroll processing, HRIS data management, and reporting
Requirements
BA/BS degree
0-3 work experience in HR or administrative support role
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate with other stakeholders as necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred – Unanet and/or Paylocity is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
