About the role

  • Engages health care professionals through virtual interactions to promote assigned client product(s), maximize the product(s)’ selling potential, and meet program objectives
  • Develops and maintains relationships with HCPs; educates on product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use
  • Utilizes approved tools for product and program promotion; maintains knowledge of product, program, and customer activity while adhering to compliance and ethical standards
  • Manages daily sales call activity to influence customers and increase product sales
  • Profiles and manages targeted lists of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume
  • Creates and implements business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals
  • Maintains call productivity and metrics required by the program
  • Communicates with customers, team members, client partners, and Amplity project support teams
  • Maintains a positive impression with the company and its customers
  • Prepares reports for management as needed
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations, and Amplity and company health policies, privacy and data guidelines
  • Participates in teleconferences, virtual meetings, and live national/regional/district trainings and conventions as applicable
  • Travel as needed for in-person meetings and conventions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required
  • B2B, field pharmaceutical sales, remote sales, or medical sales experience desired
  • Technical aptitude to navigate meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and other remote engagement software
  • May be required to attend in-person meetings with HCP offices (15%-20%) based on business needs and client requests
  • Willingness to work in all time zones if needed
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Clear, articulate, and professional phone manner
  • Strong focus on supporting customer needs
  • Effective rapport-building skills and active listening skills
  • Excellent selling, closing, persuasion, and presentation skills
  • Displays high levels of initiative and commitment
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology, including competitive information
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently and within a team
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and digital meeting platforms
  • Ability to travel to work-related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend)
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Must complete all required Amplity and client training and certification
