About the role
- Achieve the sales objectives and revenue target for assigned territory by engaging Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in field interactions to promote assigned Client product(s).
- Develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and key decision makers to maximize product selling potential and meet program objectives.
- Educate HCPs about product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use.
- Utilize approved tools for product and program promotion and maintain competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge.
- Meet and or exceed territory sales goals and objectives; manage daily sales activity and performance according to defined expectations.
- Profile and manage a targeted list of HCPs and create and implement territory business plans.
- Verify and complete required daily data entry of call activity in CRM.
- Prepare reports for Management and participate in meetings, training sessions, and conventions as applicable.
- Comply with laws, regulations, Amplity policies and Code of Conduct, privacy and data guidelines, and PDMA Guidelines.
- Successfully complete all required Client and product training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required.
- Pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred, while life science or other relevant sales experience is required.
- CNS experience a plus
- Track record of sales success
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal, written and impactful communication skills.
- High level selling, persuasion, presentation, and closing skills.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.
- Flexibility to embrace challenges and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekends).
- A valid US driver's license and safe driving record required.
- May be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers.
