About the role
- Lead team responsible for managing sales consultant support and implementation of key Wealth Management Solutions (WMS) messages, campaigns, programs and product launches
- Oversee the creation and ensure updates of sales strategy materials
- Ensure compliance approvals obtained as needed
- Oversee the design, development and implementation plan for the sales organization related to complex product marketing programs/initiatives
- Provide ongoing support to sales organization by supporting team with updates at meetings and responding to requests
- Oversee the development and implementation of virtual and in-person events
- Set strategy and execute on tactics to drive advisor and sales consultant engagement
- Provide recommendations for program improvements and oversee execution
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in sales strategy or marketing position
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Series 7 (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Series 24 (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Experience with Ameriprise Financial product suite (preferred)
- Knowledge of the Ameriprise field structure (preferred)
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to think strategically and influence people at all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
