About the role
- Manage and update website content using WordPress.
- Manage and grow social media channels by managing content calendars, writing and publishing posts, producing campaign reports, and assisting on digital marketing initiatives.
- Support marketing initiatives, including: Project execution (manage ad placement, write copy for emails, articles, and blog posts, oversee small-scale campaigns, and develop graphics) Strategy development and evaluation, Vendor coordination, and Budgetary support.
- Create and implement methods for tracking and evaluating success and impact for assigned projects.
- Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors as needed.
- Learn our data structure to develop audience list segments for email.
- Create and monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree (or equivalent) plus 1-2 years of work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), project management platforms (e.g., WorkZone), and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing.
- Working knowledge of HTML, Canva, and Microsoft’s Customer Insights email marketing platform are preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with creative writing, email and social distribution systems, basic HTML, WordPress, etc. is required.
