About the role
- ACF supports and advocates for living music creators through funding, resources, and advocacy.
- This Director role leads development, operations, and board engagement in a hybrid Saint Paul, MN office.
- Key duties include overseeing contributed revenue, annual fund, grants, and organizational systems.
- Works closely with the Executive Director and Board, with a focus on anti-racism and equity
Requirements
- At least 5 years fundraising experience
- Has worked with board members and/or volunteers on campaigns
- Enjoys utilizing data to inform strategy
- Wants to contribute to an organization committed to anti-racism and approaches their work with curiosity, courage, and self-awareness
- Currently raising $1.5 million from donations and grants
- The Director will oversee contributed revenue development and stewardship
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Grant writing experience
- Experience using database (CRM) systems, preferably Salesforce
- General knowledge of non-profit finance, including budgeting and funds tracking
- Experience managing a team and overseeing day-to-day organizational operations
- Enthusiasm about ACF’s mission and supporting music creators
- Discretion with sensitive/confidential information
