About the role
- Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times
- Exhibit ‘hands on’ and direct approach with customers
- Distribute marketing material to promote the sale and digital services
- Accurately account for daily dealer visits by updating real time via SalesForce data capturing
- Maintain an accurate and current business card directory for territory
- Build and maintain selling dealer relationships
- Recapture lost selling dealers and promote digital initiatives
- Develop and follow-up on new leads as potential new online sellers
- Coordinate enrollment, vehicle listings, sales and post-sale follow up with digital sellers
- Understand vehicle values and condition to assist sellers in proper listings
- Ensure all receipts are turned in for any credit card or personal expenditures
- Maintain planning calendar and share with other sales team members
- Maintain and grow existing selling digital dealer base to increase transactions
- Sell ancillary auction services to dealers
- Maintain up to date knowledge of digital inventory
- Assist customers with questions and concerns at the auction and on the road
- Work independently to develop territory and collaborate as a team player
- Report to Management timely any issues detrimental to operations
- Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma (some college preferred)
- Previous sales and customer service experience (preferred in the wholesale automotive field)
- Focus in digital marketing and on-line sales (preferred)
- Highly organized, self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Highly goal and customer service orientated
- Computer proficient
- Ability to update real time via SalesForce data capturing / familiarity with SalesForce
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- High energy and highly motivated to succeed
- Knowledge of vehicle values and condition
- Prior wholesale relationships preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outside the office majority of the time and travel within a designated territory (subject to temperature changes, weather, elevated noise levels, fumes and odors)
