About the role

  • Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times
  • Exhibit ‘hands on’ and direct approach with customers
  • Distribute marketing material to promote the sale and digital services
  • Accurately account for daily dealer visits by updating real time via SalesForce data capturing
  • Maintain an accurate and current business card directory for territory
  • Build and maintain selling dealer relationships
  • Recapture lost selling dealers and promote digital initiatives
  • Develop and follow-up on new leads as potential new online sellers
  • Coordinate enrollment, vehicle listings, sales and post-sale follow up with digital sellers
  • Understand vehicle values and condition to assist sellers in proper listings
  • Ensure all receipts are turned in for any credit card or personal expenditures
  • Maintain planning calendar and share with other sales team members
  • Maintain and grow existing selling digital dealer base to increase transactions
  • Sell ancillary auction services to dealers
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of digital inventory
  • Assist customers with questions and concerns at the auction and on the road
  • Work independently to develop territory and collaborate as a team player
  • Report to Management timely any issues detrimental to operations
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma (some college preferred)
  • Previous sales and customer service experience (preferred in the wholesale automotive field)
  • Focus in digital marketing and on-line sales (preferred)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • Highly goal and customer service orientated
  • Computer proficient
  • Ability to update real time via SalesForce data capturing / familiarity with SalesForce
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • High energy and highly motivated to succeed
  • Knowledge of vehicle values and condition
  • Prior wholesale relationships preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work outside the office majority of the time and travel within a designated territory (subject to temperature changes, weather, elevated noise levels, fumes and odors)
