Engineer

• Strategically identify, pre-qualify, and connect with customer decision makers to develop opportunities for comprehensive solutions including, but not limited to, energy conservation measures and renewables
• Coordinate visits to customer project sites to investigate existing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and document energy performance information, including utility data and facility infrastructure drawings
• Identify opportunities for conservation or efficiency and assist with preparation of energy savings calculations and technical engineering assessment
• Assist Engineers with design and development activities in support of construction, operations, and maintenance of customer site projects as required by energy savings performance contracts
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to prepare conceptual and detailed design and bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for energy efficient building technology and system measures
• Providing expertise in pre-construction/constructability review
• Develop and maintain financial and pricing models during project development
• Coordinate with vendors and installation contractors for feasibility and pricing verification of proposed project modifications
• Provide technical guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, reports, cost estimates, and presentations
• Assure successful project implementation that meets or exceeds company objectives, financial parameters, and technical needs required to deliver customer energy cost savings
• Formulate successful strategies to increase sales activities and ensure annual goals are exceeded
• Successfully develop, organize, strategically position, prepare and issue winning proposals and presentations
• Assume overall responsibility for the development and schedule of all aspects of the proposals
• Perform and/or review energy savings calculations and financial evaluations of proposed projects
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge and understanding of entire proposal and contract terms
• Cultivate and foster both internal and external customer relationships
• Perform other duties as required

Project Development Engineer

Manager

• Develop and manage the project Quality Control (QC) Plan per contract requirements.
• Execute the Three-Phases of Quality Control.
• Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate required testing.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, SSHOs, and subcontractors on new Definable Features of Work (DFOW).
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation.
• Track and resolve deficiencies through corrective actions and follow-up inspections.
• Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Quality Control Manager

Solutions Engineer

• Architect end-to-end solutions for business applications, integrating with existing systems, and ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
• Research business best practices and industry standards such as ISO or ANSI and apply those learnings to solution design.
• Work closely with various stakeholders including customers, business analysts, engineers, project managers, developers, and other architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Assess new and existing technology to determine their fit within the organization's tech stack, considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Oversee the integration of disparate systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to security standards, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation including system designs, integration points, and data flows.
• Participate in or lead aspects of project management related to architecture, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Design, perform and oversee functional testing to ensure that applications meet stakeholder requirements.
• Liaise with external vendors for technology solutions, ensuring they meet the company's technical and operational standards.

Application Solutions Architect

Field Engineer

• Assist with the completion and organization of the documentation turnover package including commissioning documentation, pressure test documentation, O&M manuals, etc.
• Communicate regularly with the manager with regard to any encountered or expected issues with schedule, work scope, or the need for additional resources to solve problems.
• Embrace Ameresco’s strong safety culture during all work activities. This includes following all Ameresco safety protocols, including the use of PPE, LOTO practices, hot work permitting, safe work habits, etc.
• Travel to vendor shops to perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) work on control panels and other vendor supplied equipment.
• Use electrical test equipment to perform I/O verification checks on discrete and analog control circuits from the PLC cabinet to the field device.
• Determine the root cause of, and provide corrective action for, any lack of continuity or function.
• Verify the function of discrete and analog valves.
• Configure, test, and tune valve actuators and positioners.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of plant servers, process networks, HMI graphics, PLC's, site internet service, VPN tunnels, and plant data historians.
• Update P&IDs, control panel drawings, and other drawings and schematics as needed according to the commissioning drawing revision procedures.
• Provide technical support for mechanical and control system troubleshooting.
• Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and purging of piping systems.
• Assist with plant performance testing activities and oversee work provided by sub-contracted vendors and commissioning personnel.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% or more) to support commissioning projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
