About the role
- Work with onsite Project Managers
- Travel between all fourteen (14) project sites to evaluate and assist with localized project QC plan
- Read and understand specifications, reference codes and standards
- Review and interpret contract drawings
- Review provisions for required control inspection and testing
- Prepare quality control plan for each project assigned
- Initial setup and management of QCS/RMS functions
- Assist with efficient management of project submittals
- Spot check to assure all materials and equipment have been submitted and approved
- Maintain a proactive approach to quality control
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School, GED, technical training school
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial quality control manager experience
- Active US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate
- Ability to review confidential US security information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Procore and Kahua.
