About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with onsite Project Managers
  • Travel between all fourteen (14) project sites to evaluate and assist with localized project QC plan
  • Read and understand specifications, reference codes and standards
  • Review and interpret contract drawings
  • Review provisions for required control inspection and testing
  • Prepare quality control plan for each project assigned
  • Initial setup and management of QCS/RMS functions
  • Assist with efficient management of project submittals
  • Spot check to assure all materials and equipment have been submitted and approved
  • Maintain a proactive approach to quality control
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School, GED, technical training school
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial quality control manager experience
  • Active US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate
  • Ability to review confidential US security information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Procore and Kahua.
