Account Executive will target, qualify, and develop comprehensive financial and energy solutions for clients in commercial, industrial, institutional, government, and public housing markets.\n
Responsibilities include developing knowledge of energy industry, assessing market, engaging with consultants, developing sales strategy to exceed quotas, cultivating C-Level and financial/technical relationships, delivering proposals, and managing contracts and financing.\n
Manage sales and pipeline in Salesforce; travel as required; support cross-functional teams and contribute to energy savings outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years (or equivalent) progressive experience marketing complex energy efficiency, renewable technology, and performance contracting solutions within energy services and target markets, including the ability to identify customer energy needs, effectively communicate energy solutions, and position Ameresco as provider of choice.\n
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field desirable.\n
Active progress toward industry-related or advanced education preferred.\n
Experienced in lead development, account management skills and ability to close complex deals.\n
Proven sales track record of securing complex offerings to C-level management.\n
Strong knowledge and understanding of Energy Conservation and Energy Legislation.\n
Extensive Knowledge of proactive prospecting at the financial decision-making level with building owners and executives at the C-level.\n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.\n
Excellent verbal, written, computer communication, and technical presentation skills.\n
Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state required; and Travel required.
