Operations

• Coordinate duties associated with gas and electric operations
• Act as a liaison between front line supervisors and other company departments and support groups
• Schedule and track reliability and compliance work
• Support Work Prioritization and Scheduling of Compliance and Construction work
• Create Maximo work orders for compliance and construction when/as needed
• Track use of specialized division tools and equipment
• Track, update and submit corrections on OAS and Maximo entry errors
• Assist in coordinating schedules that impact operations
• Work with customers to resolve complaints
• Manage damage claim issues
• Maintain and support the duty rotation assignments
• Prepare information for Division specific review of policies and procedures

Operations Coordinator

Engineer

• Responsible for technical support of the management of change database
• Facilitation of risk assessments and Continuous Improvement Efforts for the Ameren Illinois gas Pipeline Safety Management System/Gas System Excellence
• Foster process safety ownership through leadership, coordination, and coaching
• Provide routine communication to the Pipeline Safety Management team regarding process safety issues
• Work with Process Safety Specialist to ensure compliance and risk reduction
• Lead risk assessments and formal process hazard analyses (PHA)
• Develop and improve training, tools, and policies for Gas Safety Excellence
• Coordinate the engineering review capability for PHA, MOC, and PSSR
• Lead process event investigations and develop corrective actions
• Assist leadership with process safety objectives and strategies
• Provide analysis of incidents for sustainable corrective actions
• Review training systems for effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Provide technical direction to improve process safety performance

Engineer, Pipeline Safety Gas

Procurement

• Work and gain hands-on experience on Ameren's Supply Chain team
• Support sourcing processes, transformation initiatives, category management and other supply chain activities
• Assist in various Supply Chain initiatives including developing should-cost financial and economic models, supplier and market intelligence
• Gather data for demand planning and process improvements or assisting in inventory/material processes
• Measurable Objectives: completion of the assigned tasks, including timing, quality, and character of work performed
• Expected Major Contributions: key project deliverable to execute and present to Executives at the end of the summer internship program.

Sourcing Fall Co-Op

• Deliver safe, reliable energy to communities
• Collaborate with a team to improve energy service
• Participate in initiatives for renewable energy transformation

Distribution Engineer

• Build and maintain a multi-week schedule focused on due dates and high-priority jobs
• Assign work based on crew availability and location to optimize productivity where possible
• Coordinate with Operations Planners and Supervisors to integrate key inputs like crew size, equipment, materials, and job duration into scheduling decisions
• Monitor pre-requisites and job status, adjusting schedules to avoid delays when needed (in partnership with Operations Planners and Supervisors)
• Track basic scheduling metrics and support improvements. Document updates in planning tools and help ensure communication with stakeholders.
• Lead daily and weekly scheduling / planning meetings to collect input from planners, engineers, designers, and other team members.
• Coordinate responses to emergent work requests and understand the impact of changes to scheduled work.
• Support and assist in emergency events such as storm restoration or gas events.
